Santa María de Oia is the area par excellence for seaside paragliding with spectacular views of the Galician coast. Enthusiasts of this sport meet at "Bar la Riña" which is the first bar to the right when entering the township Baiona. There are two launching areas: Corrubelo and O Castro. The landing area is located in a grassy field behind the bar, and you will need to make adjustments to land. There are other landing options in various fields in the lower part towards the sea.
