The A Pedreira petroplyphs can be found at the viewpoint of A Riña, which offers an excellent panoramic view of the bay and of the monastery of Oia. This group of mysterious prehistoric petroglyphs consist of easily discernible lines and bowl shapes.

Similarly, the parish of Pedornes houses some of the most unique petroglyphs out of the entire Galician complex of prehistoric rock art. The engravings of Figueiredo or Laxe da Auga dos Cebros can be found on the bed of the Vilar river on a sloping granite slab. The iconographic repertoire consists of 17 bass-relief figures of quadrupeds (deer) and the paradigmatic design of a 160 cm. long vessel, with a curved hull, with prow and stern, mast, ropes and possible crew, which is interpreted to be probably of Mediterranean origin or influence.
