This site, which consists of the iron age settlement and petroglyphs of A Cabeciña, is located on the mountain range of Sierra de A Groba, a strategic place rising 148 metres above sea level.
The excavations have revealed the remains of an ancient settlement with a busy lifestyle by the time of the Romanization. The structure is of a defensive watchtower on which the settlement was erected, with a 100 metre long defensive wall to protect an enclosed area covering approximately 5,500 m².
